Finally came off the press the book "Sin Censura", a collection of tales, stories and poetry of the participants in the workshop of Poetry and Creative Writing at Jaime Jaramillo Escobar, held Saturday morning, every week, in the Medellin Pilot Public Library. There, in a very honorable company is my first story published, "Our Lady of the Donor", a story that developed within the Liquid Writing workshop with HernĂ¡n Ortiz Viviana Trujillo as patients and caregivers. I must also thank Carolina, Carlos and Laura, workshop companions for the long reading sessions and critical, and of course Chris, who accompanied me on this since its inception.
Nothing, it feels nice to see one's name printed on paper of a book that still smells like printing and participate in the general merriment and joy, collecting signatures and autographs of fellow colleagues.
The book will be presented to society, here as that used in the Library Auditorium, on Thursday October 28 at 6:30 pm.
"Our Lady of the Donor" and went to the world, are his pages 167 to 192, "Uncensored." Now I can also publish in these parts, for those who do not have easy access to the printed book. I'm going to get in short supply, since blogging is in bad taste to publish 26 pages at once.
Actually, yes. It feels very good.
